JOTA steel instruments are made of stainless steel, meaning they can be sterilised with ease. The instruments combine high elasticity with optimum material strength. The range includes a variety of shapes and blade designs, making them ideal for removing thick corneal layers, working on nail plates, and removing corns.
PLEASE NOTE:
When sterilising stainless steel instruments, please note that they lose strength at temperatures of 180°C, which significantly reduces their service life. JOTA AG therefore recommends sterilising steel instruments in an autoclave only!
All JOTA steel instruments are certified medical products.
STEEL DRILLS
In order to avoid the formation of black spots / edges and oxidation points when reprocessing non-stainless steel instruments in the autoclave / steam sterilizer, they must be pre-treated with a rust protection spray.
